Merge is part of the DNA of Mobberly Baptist Church. Merge combines the influence of church with the influence of home to help families on their discipleship journey. I was able to create a strong identity for Merge and have been a part of carrying out this identity through the Merge Family Conference, educational displays, signage and collateral.
I had the great honor of working with my friend Linsey Metcalf on signage for Passion 2013. I was able to design signage and collateral for the 268 store, various directionals and a guided prayer journey. This is a great example of creating memorable experiences that PROPEL the message of the gospel.
My first job out of college was at the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce in Waco, Texas. I served as the Art Director and worked closely with the Vice President of Communications. I designed quarterly magazines, relocation guides, promotional items for the grand opening of our new green building and LOTS of collateral for various programs within the Chamber. This job taught me so much about working with people. Some of the highlights: meeting Nolan Ryan, George W. Bush, RGIII and Trey Wingo; designing the logo for AND participating in TriWaco; taking photos on top of the famed ALICO building; and receiving Best of Show at the American Advertising Federation - Waco ADDY Awards for the green box I designed.
Most of the photos on this page were taken by my good friend Jason Hagerup. Thanks Jason!
This booklet celebrated the 50 year anniversary of the Waco Industrial Foundation, an arm of the Greater Waco Chamber.
In 2009, the Greater Waco Chamber opened the first green chamber building in America. I designed all of the promotional materials associated with the grand opening.

This project was for a sermon series at Mobberly Baptist Church. I created signage, inviter cards and digital graphics for this series.
Before we moved to Marshall, my husband was the college and worship pastor for Connection Church in Spearfish, South Dakota. I have worked on many design projects with Connection Church. Whenever possible, design + ministry = one happy Jill! To connect with college students at Black Hills State University, we created a photo booth for opening weekend, hosted free laundry parties to share the love of Jesus in a really practical way and started a service driven student organization called REACH. I'm always looking for ways to utilize design to allow people to connect to the mission of the local church AND with each other.
Our Laundry Parties in Spearfish were taken on the road to Boston! College students from BHSU knocked on doors and invited college students and families to a free laundry event in the Allston area of Boston.
